Fugitive Psalms

The Fugitive Psalms (Psalms 52-60) are a group of nine Psalms (plus Psalm 16) written by David during the years of danger when Saul and his associates pursued David in order to kill him. Six of these Psalms are referred to in their inscriptions by the mysterious Hebrew title of miktam. These nine Psalms remind us that evil men are a very real threat to godly men.

Text adapted from 150 Questions about the Psalter by Bradley Johnston.
